Technical Sales Manager
Location: Hybrid- Aylesbury / Predominantly Remote
Salary: £50,000 + Company Car + Commission

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a growing sales team within the wastewater sector.
This is a senior role focused on developing sales opportunities, building strong relationships with customers and key industry influencers, and supporting the continued growth of a technical wastewater product portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver sales and specification plans across the wastewater market.
- Build relationships with engineers, architects, consultants, contractors and other key decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and support the wider sales team in achieving targets.
- Provide technical guidance and presentations to customers and internal teams.
- Attend customer meetings, site visits and industry events where required.
- Keep up to date with wastewater regulations, standards and industry developments.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering and product development teams.
- Help increase product specification and identify new routes to market.
- Monitor sales opportunities and maintain an effective sales pipeline.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
About you:
We are looking for someone with proven technical sales experience, ideally within the water, wastewater, civils, drainage or a related technical environment.
You will need to be confident working with customers and senior stakeholders, with strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. A technical understanding of the sector is important, along with the ability to identify commercial opportunities and influence specifications.
Degree-level education or equivalent is required. Previous experience within the water or civil engineering sector and knowledge of SuDS would be advantageous.
