About us

Response Logistics are Staffordshire's premier distribution company for pallet collections and deliveries across the UK and Ireland. Based in Stoke on Trent, we are part of a network with over 90+ depots across the country to service customers' collection and delivery requirements.

What you will be doing?

The successful candidate will be driving an 18 Tonne Curtain Sided Tail-Lift Vehicle, completing Multi-Drop Palletised Deliveries and Collections within Stoke and Cheshire.

When you will be working?

Monday to Friday - Guaranteed minimum hours paid - 42.5 hours. Optional Weekend work depending on customer requirements.

Your responsibilities?

  • Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Ensuring your load is secured safely
  • Complete Deliveries in route order
  • Complete Collections in route order
  • Use of an Electric Powered Pump Truck
  • Use of a hand-held signature capture mobile device ensuring signatures are obtained
  • Speaking with delivery points and customers in a polite and professional manner
  • Work in accordance with Drivers Hours Regulations
  • Follow company procedures to the best of your ability
  • Follow Health and Safety Procedures and Regulations

Rate of pay?

Up to 42.5 hours = £13.45 per hour
Overtime = £13.65 per hour
Saturday = £100 minimum & £15.20 per hour after 8 hours
Sunday/Bank Holiday = £125 minimum & £17.25 per hour after 8 hours
Quarterly bonus = £200 a quarter. Rate of pay is reviewed every year.
