About us
Response Logistics are Staffordshire's premier distribution company for pallet collections and deliveries across the UK and Ireland. Based in Stoke on Trent, we are part of a network with over 90+ depots across the country to service customers' collection and delivery requirements.
What you will be doing?
The successful candidate will be driving an 18 Tonne Curtain Sided Tail-Lift Vehicle, completing Multi-Drop Palletised Deliveries and Collections within Stoke and Cheshire.
When you will be working?
- Monday to Friday - Guaranteed minimum hours paid - 42.5 hours
- Optional Weekend work depending on customer requirements
Your responsibilities?
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring your load is secured safely
- Complete Deliveries in route order
- Complete Collections in route order
- Use of an Electric Powered Pump Truck
- Use of a hand-held signature capture mobile device ensuring signatures are obtained
- Speaking with delivery points and customers in a polite and professional manner
- Work in accordance with Drivers Hours Regulations
- Follow company procedures to the best of your ability
- Follow Health and Safety Procedures and Regulations
Rate of pay?
- Up to 42.5 hours = £13.45 per hour
- Overtime = £13.65 per hour
- Saturday = £100 minimum & £15.20 per hour after 8 hours
