Job description HGV Class 1 - Driver - 14:00 start Due to on-going expansion and a thirst for growth we are looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver for our site based in Stoke on Trent - ST1.

With a tech focused approach and core focus of moving freight efficiently throughout the UK & Ireland.

The successful candidate will be driving a class 1 vehicle for trunking pallets into a pallet network.

The core role is to collect palletised freight from our customers, and then complete trunking runs from the local depot or customer premises to the hub based in Lichfield.

This is Monday to Friday.

Any work on the weekends is optional.

Start and finish times are based on the network and customer requirements.

Initially this will be a 2pm start (With flexibility to start earlier if required).

The right candidate must be willing, honest, reliable, accountable, committed, capable and professional in all elements of their work This position involves: Completing vehicle checks, and the reporting of defects, as applicable.

Application of load security.

Efficient driving completing the trunking plan.

Use of a hand-held signature capture or mobile device.

Liaison with delivery points in a polite and professional manner.

Working in accordance with Drivers Hours Regulations, the Company's Operating Procedures and Health & Safety requirements.

Hours vary and can be expected to be potentially doing maximum daily hours during busy periods (no nights out).

Pay Up to 50 hours = £15.05 per hour Overtime = £15.25 per hour Saturday = £125 minimum & £16.20 per hour after 8 hours Sunday/
