The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer. You will be responsible for Test Planning, Scripting, Execution, Dry Runs, Demos and Training to Users. Also finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Experience in Functional testing for BFS Domain is preferable.

Should have good overall Banking knowledge including understanding of Property, Consumer, Business finance, Savings and related products. Experience in managing projects for Banking clients. Should have extensive experience in programme management in the area of planning, estimations, strategy, approach, plan and execution.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with Test Lead/Manager/QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Must have Test Automation knowledge, with Selenium, Appium or any other automation tools, Postman, Playwright, Cypress.io etc.
  • Preferably Cloud based solutions with Web, API and Mobile testing.
  • Experience in QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Familiar with JIRA, QC or any similar Test/Defect Management tool
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
