Note: The role is of a project manager who will have to travel to customer’s installation locations wherever there is an active project. The person can be based at any of TEL UK offices, e.g., London or Coventry. The customer wants the person to travel to different locations within the UK, as per the ongoing project requirement. The cost of travel etc. will be on actuals.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to run our Pharmacy Automation Delivery initiatives across the UK, with a strong focus on the Midlands region. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects related to the implementation and delivery of pharmacy robots. Your ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders—including hospital pharmacists and departments—and oversee all aspects of installation will be critical to our success. This includes coordinating logistical aspects such as parking solutions, as well as assisting in designing and implementing workflows inside the central pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end pharmacy robot delivery projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to facilitate successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the deployment and installation of pharmacy robots across various sites, primarily in the Midlands, with potential travel across the UK.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of installation, including site assessment, parking arrangements for delivery vehicles, and on-site coordination.
  • Assist in designing and implementing efficient workflows within central pharmacies to optimize the use of robotic systems.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, hospital pharmacists, and hospital departments to ensure satisfaction and project alignment with business goals.
  • Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring all team members are aligned and informed.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with hospital pharmacies and other departments to support the effective integration of robotic systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in healthcare, technology, or logistics sectors.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, including hospital pharmacists and departments.
  • Ability to travel across the UK to oversee project sites and engage with clients.
  • Experience with robotic systems, pharmacy operations, or healthcare infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of workflow design and process improvement is desirable.
  • Experience managing logistical aspects of large-scale installations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is required.
  • A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
