Infrastructure Specialist

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7-10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.

Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Proficient with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).

Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.

Solid scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

Strong understanding of security practices in infrastructure design and operations.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or similar.

Preferred Skills:

Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, RHCE, etc.).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling. Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
