Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure customer networks are documented as part of project handovers
  • Install, configure, fault find, report and maintain routers, switches and firewalls
  • Completion of site surveys to enable installation
  • Rack, charger and telecoms equipment installation and commissioning to an excellent standard
  • Create Health and Safety documentation such as RAMS, POWRA to ensure H&S measures are adhered to

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system environments
  • Strong background in IP networking, including CCNA-level knowledge, WAN, LAN, and MPLS
  • Hands‑on experience with Nokia platforms, including Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P
  • Excellent understanding of routing, switching, and data networking principles
  • Experience working with XTran technology
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Visio for network and technical diagramming
