The Key Responsibilities Of a Distribution Coordinator
- Ensure ownership of all customer relationships.
- Maintain internal relations including suppliers and drivers.
- Provide each customer with a high level of service by listening to their needs and providing the care and attention they deserve.
- Collaborate within the team to clarify orders, facts and run smoothly.
- Take and schedule orders.
- Administer the allocation of products, repairs, charging, receipts and dispatch.
- Liaise with service engineers.
- Ensure contracts are in place.
- Respond to customer queries and price requests.
The Minimum Requirements For a Distribution Coordinator
- Strong customer service and administration experience – ideally shipping / distribution experience.
- Great with IT and new systems.
- Confident personality and exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Able to multi‑task efficiently.
