Respectful Recruiting is a leading talent acquisition firm specializing in the metal stamping / tooling industry. Our client, located in Waukesha County, is a leading manufacturer of metal stamping solutions, fabricated assemblies, and enclosure systems for complex applications. They provide Design & Engineering, Metal Stamping, fabrication, welding and Tool & Die services.

Position Overview

Manage assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. This includes providing quotes for new & existing parts, coordinating technical review of customer design concepts, leading teams to launch new products, resolving quality or delivery concerns, and meeting with key personnel at the customer’s locations as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Provide engineering and program launch support
  • Coordinate and supervise the research, design and construction of tools, fixtures, dies, gages and other tooling
  • Prepare quotes as required, supplying customers with costs and lead times for tooling and manufactured parts

Qualifications

  • 2- or 4-year engineering or related technical degree required
  • Experienced Tool & Die Maker or relevant manufacturing experience may be acceptable
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use measuring instruments, i.e. micrometer, calipers, test sets, and gaging equipment
  • Ability to interpret and understand customer drawings, GD&T, specifications and 3D models
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions, tolerance, etc.
  • Ability to operate computer and working knowledge of typical office programs – i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
