About the Role

They are seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their engineering team. This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and involves a balanced mix of reactive and planned maintenance activity within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of mixers, conveyors and packaging equipment
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Responding to machinery breakdowns efficiently
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring minimal downtime and smooth site operations

About You

The successful candidate will have experience within a manufacturing or production environment and a strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance. You will be flexible, proactive and possess a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in both reactive and planned maintenance environments
