We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the People team in Watford on a full-time, fixed-term basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in our transition from a traditional HR set-up to a more digital, data-led, and proactive people function.
Be the first point of contact for HR advice on matters like absence, flexible working, maternity/paternity, disciplinaries, grievances, and more.
- Support day-to-day employee relations and HR case handling.
- Contribute to exciting people projects - from building job descriptions and improving EVP to reducing attrition and creating a performance management framework.
- Help refine and standardise recruitment practices, including interview process alignment.
- Drive consistency, clarity, and quality across HR processes and manager toolkits.
- Compile and analyse monthly HR metrics reports, including headcount, turnover, absence, and recruitment data, to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or working towards), Excel skills and solid overall IT literacy, experience working across multiple sites or in a fast-moving environment (retail/hospitality/FMCG a plus), comfortable delivering both day-to-day advice and long-term project work.
