We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Officer to join our client's HR team on a 15-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, starting end of May / early June 2026. Reporting into the Head of HR, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of four (including one US-based colleague), supporting a workforce of around 260 employees. This is a varied role that blends HR administration with developing advisory responsibilities, offering a great opportunity to grow your HR career while making a real impact on employee experience.
The Role
As People Officer, you’ll provide administrative, operational and first-line advisory support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate employee records on HRIS in line with GDPR
- Draft contracts, letters, and employment documentation
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions and new starter experience
- Manage family leave processes and leaver administration
