Resourcing4HR are delighted to be working with a growing organisation in recruiting a People Business Partner to join their HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being close to the business and making a real impact across the employee lifecycle.

Working closely with the Head of People, you’ll provide hands-on HR support across Head Office and the operational business, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
  • Managing complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters
  • Supporting investigations and advising managers on appropriate action
  • Coaching managers to become effective people leaders
  • Supporting conflict resolution and mediation
  • Managing absence and supporting employee wellbeing
  • Advising on employment law and ensuring HR policies are applied consistently
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and HR systems
  • Driving employee engagement and supporting an inclusive workplace culture
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives alongside the Head of People
  • Providing HR support across multiple operational locations as required

About you:

You’ll be a confident HR Generalist, HR Advisor or People Partner with strong employee relations experience and a genuine passion for supporting people. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence
  • Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach
  • Confidence advising managers and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Retail, FMCG or multi-site experience would be advantageous
