Incoming role for an ER Specialist on a 6 month FTC basis to support our client throughout a peak in workload.

- Hybrid 3 days on site / 2 days home working

The Role:
• Managing complex ER cases from initial advice through to resolution
• Advising on disciplinary, grievance, capability, probation and sickness cases
• Supporting redundancy programmes and consultation processes
• Advising on TUPE matters
• Coaching and supporting managers through sensitive employee issues
• Working with managers at different levels across the organisation
• Supporting overseas managers where required, with a primary focus on UK ER
• Providing commercially focused and legally sound advice
• Supporting the implementation of recent UK employment law changes
• Contributing to wider HR/ER projects and process improvements
• Managing a varied caseload while maintaining high standards of documentation and governance
About You:
• Significant Employee Relations experience within a fast-paced organisation
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
• Extensive experience managing disciplinary, grievance, capability and sickness cases
• Experience of redundancy, consultation and TUPE
• Confidence advising and challenging managers at all levels
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to manage multiple complex cases and competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The confidence and autonomy to make sound, risk-based decisions
This role would suit an experienced ER Specialist or HR Business Partner with a strong ER focus who is comfortable working independently and making an immediate impact.
