Due to continued growth and increasing demand, our client is seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to join their team as Mobile Tyre Technicians. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent service and have a strong background in tyre fitting and repair. As a Mobile Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of tyre fitting and repair, both on-site and in their workshop when required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in car and van tyre fitting to a high standard, given the high-volume workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check, remove, replace, and repair worn, damaged, or defective tyres on cars and commercial vehicles.
- Repair punctures and ensure correct air pressures and levels in tyres.
- Carry out balance and wheel alignment.
- Cost out work and liaise with customers before commencing work.
- Check and order stock.
- Perform basic data input.
- Load and unload tyres, deliveries, and equipment.
- Exceed customer care standards, service, and satisfaction through excellent quality of work, advice, and customer interaction.
- Advise customers about keeping tyres in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with management and the wider team.
- Achieve job expectations and adhere to company processes, policies, and procedures to ensure productivity standards are met.
- Identify any issues with equipment and vehicles and report to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in car and van tyre fitting.
- Commercial tyre experience (advantageous but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have commercial tyre experience.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience. £27,000 - £40,000 per year. Call out & overtime pay.
