Overview: The Quality Systems Manager has responsibility and accountability for management of Technical processes within the factory ensuring the sites Quality Management System is fully compliant, whilst ensuring strict compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Policies and Quality / Food Safety processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a strong Food Safety and Quality Culture, ensuring products are manufactured to the correct safety, legality and quality standards at all times.
  • Support the Site Technical Manager in maintaining compliance with BRCGS, customer Codes of Practice, legal requirements and internal standards.
  • Maintain and continuously improve site Quality Management System (QMS) processes, ensuring systems remain effective, practical and aligned to operational requirements.
  • Coordinate and support site internal audit activities, ensuring findings, non-conformances and corrective actions are effectively managed and closed out.
  • Maintain oversight of technical compliance trackers and site improvement plans, including fabrication and infrastructure actions managed through systems.
  • Support investigation of technical non-conformances, complaints, incidents and audit findings, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Trend and communicate technical KPI data to identify recurring issues, emerging risks and improvement opportunities.
