Reporting to the Site Supply Chain Manager, the materials coordinator will carry out day-to-day scheduling and planning of inbound materials to site which optimise commercial agreements, order cycles and stock levels to ensure full availability of materials are in place for daily and weekly production plans whilst minimising waste and unnecessary cost.

- Carry out the planning & scheduling of all inbound materials to meet the site's operational requirements.
- Optimise commercial agreements, order cycles and stock levels to ensure full availability to daily production plans are achieved whilst minimising wastage and unnecessary cost.
- Generation of necessary purchase orders for all inbound materials and matching of invoices as per site procedures.
- Review and implement where applicable continuous improvements to the site scheduling process which ensure suppliers are clear on their requirements, accurate intake schedule and operational efficiency is optimised.
- Review of site and suppliers' stocks on weekly and monthly basis, report on slow moving stock and write offs where appropriate.
- Plan in first delivery of new items in line with site launch plan.
- Communication of de-listing products with suppliers and identify write offs in timely manner.
- Generation of weekly service level report.
- Escalate where appropriate any supply chain challenges affecting service levels.
