The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products. This role ensures inventory accuracy, optimal warehouse organization, and timely delivery of materials to production. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining productivity, safety, and compliance standards within the warehouse.
The Position

- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping of materials and products.
- Maintain an accurate inventory management system, ensuring timely data entry and tracking of inventory movements.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Design and implement efficient storage layouts, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse to increase efficiency and reduce handling time.
- Ensure warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained in good working condition and used safely.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, and order fulfilment accuracy.
- Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to align on material requirements and schedule changes.
