This Food & Beverage Operations Manager is a senior operationally focused role with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of our Food and Beverage Operations. The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will be highly visible on site, leading from the front, setting F&B standards, and ensuring an excellent experience for members, guests, and event guests.
The F&B Operations Manager will play a key role in driving service quality, team performance, operational efficiency, and commercial results across a busy events focused business with multiple bars and banqueting.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily hospitality, bar, and event operations, ensuring high standards
- Lead, recruit, train, schedule, and manage bar and event teams
- Act as a site key holder, responsible for opening and closing procedures
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver events
- Manage stock control, ordering, deliveries, suppliers, and inventory systems
- Oversee cash handling, tills, EPOS systems, and operational reporting
- Monitor sales performance, labour costs, margins, and operational budgets
- Drive profitability through effective cost control and efficient resource planning
- Handle member and guest queries professionally and effectively
- Proven experience in hospitality F&B operations, bar management, events management, banqueting or a similar senior operational role
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Commercially aware with experience managing costs, margins, and operational performance
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and live events as required
The successful F&B Manager will be proactive, confident with excellent communication skills and have a natural ability to build a rapport with club members as well as with team members. Furthermore, they will have a record of working to a high standard and be extremely well organised.
