The Role
- You'll be leading electrical design across a range of commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects, taking schemes from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
- You'll be trusted to:
- Lead electrical design packages independently
- Produce high-quality drawings, calculations and specifications
- Coordinate with mechanical, architectural and structural teams
- Attend design meetings and speak confidently with clients and contractors
- Support junior engineers and raise the level of the team around you
- Spot problems early and design them out before they reach site
What You'll Be Working On:
- Power and lighting design
- Distribution, containment, and schematics
- Emergency lighting, fire alarms, small power
- Load calculations, cable sizing, protection
- Coordination in Revit / BIM environments
- Technical problem solving during construction

- Has 5+ years experience in electrical building services design
- Is comfortable running projects without hand-holding

- Experience with Revit and BIM coordination is a big plus.
