Established for over 100 years, our client has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality new build, refurbishment, restoration and design & build projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, leisure and heritage sectors. Operating from five regional offices, the business continues to grow with a strong secured pipeline of work and record financial performance.

The Role

  • As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.
  • Projects typically range from £1m to £30m and include a mixture of new build, refurbishment, restoration and design & build schemes across Oxfordshire and the wider South East.
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, accounts and final accounts.
  • Managing project cash flow and financial performance.
  • Working closely with site and project management teams.
  • Assisting with value engineering and risk management.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Supporting successful commercial delivery from inception through to completion.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
  • Strong understanding of commercial management within construction.
  • Experience on new build and/or refurbishment projects.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
