Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, with 1 in every 3 weeks being on call.
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per annum + £200 on call each month, 8% pension (employee doesn't contribute), annual bonus, Christmas vouchers, investment on training and more.
Location: Near Humberside Airport - Commutable from Grimsby, Barton-upon-Humber, Brigg, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Immingham, Market Rasen, Gainsborough and surrounding areas.
This is a very exciting position to work for a successful and heavy plant manufacturing company offering both challenging and rewarding careers. Due to a promotion, they are now seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor with good experience across leading a team of Electrical Engineers who cover planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, project work and improvements.
As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage and supervise day and shift electrical engineers as well as sub-contractors in the safest and most efficient way possible. Using the Engineering departments CMMS, you will ensure that all plant & equipment is serviced in accordance with the planned preventative maintenance schedules and process plant downtime is kept to a minimum through proactive maintenance.
Within this role your usual place of work will be split between process plant/site and desk/office 80/20; however, this can change due to the performance of the assets as your technical support may be needed.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the team in providing front line maintenance support to site in line with current EH&S legal obligations and guidelines.
- Supervise and/or carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance on all electrical aspects of the process plant in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurately and effectively all necessary files/records, including the update of the Engineering departments CMMS as to be audit ready at all times.
- The ability to work well independently, with minimum supervision.
- Positive, can-do work ethic, with an ability to challenge the current status quo and wanting to go the extra mile to deliver a meaningful difference.
- Ability to successfully lead a team.
Requirements:
- A HNC or above in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent understanding of current Electrical Engineering regulations & guidance.
- 18th Edition qualified.
- IOSH certificate.
- HV Switching trained.
- CompEx Trained (desirable).
- Experience with PLCs, drives and instrumentation systems (desirable).
- Supervisory experience dealing with the control and management of personnel in a maintenance environment including contract labour is desirable.
