The predicted salary is between 26201 - 32023 Β£ per year.

We are currently looking for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a wonderful nursery based in Reading on a term-time only basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a bright, open-plan nursery environment with a strong focus on outdoor play, exploration and hands-on learning.

The role is Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 6.15pm, during term time only, offering a great work-life balance with school holidays off.

This makes it an ideal position for someone looking for a rewarding early years role that fits around family life, study or other commitments.

Key duties and responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Planning and supporting engaging indoor and outdoor activities that encourage curiosity, independence and development.

Understanding and following safeguarding procedures to promote the welfare and safety of all children.

Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.

Observing, assessing and recording children's progress, using this information to support next steps in learning.

Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development within a nurturing environment.

Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating nursery space, including open-ended play areas and outdoor learning spaces.

Working as part of a supportive team to deliver excellent standards of early years practice.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification, have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development, and be confident working within the EYFS framework.

A warm, enthusiastic and proactive approach is essential.
