Location: Commutable from Spennymoor, Durham, Darlington, Staindrop, Sedgefield, Bishop Auckland and surrounding areas
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor to work within a fast-paced factory environment. This is a hands-on role, with a rough split of 60 - 70% hands-on and 40 - 30% management. Your role is to support, complete and coordinate all maintenance activities in the factory including:
- Repairs completed quickly and efficiently
- Proactive maintenance being carried out
- Various projects
Hands-on and complete various maintenance tasks including breakdown repairs and PPM's.
Responsibilities include:
- Motivating and leading a small team of Maintenance Engineers
- Coordinating and championing the Planned Preventive Maintenance system
- Coordinating various projects and contractors, as and when required
- Supporting continuous improvements in the factory
- Taking an active role in reporting on maintenance
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who has leadership/supervisory experience or is ready for the next step. You should be qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering or similar. The hiring manager is open to any bias, whether Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi Skilled. Experience in completing repairs and general factory maintenance to machinery and/or equipment is essential.
