Tax Technology Manager | Alteryx | PowerBI | SQL | Python | London | Birmingham | Hybrid | £55,000 – £65,000
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) or London (Hybrid)
Level: Manager (no people management but will coach and mentor junior memebers)
This role sits in the Tax team so previous experience within tax or auditing is preferred. We are looking for someone with strong experience in Data / Automation / Analytics to work at the cutting edge of digital transformation inside one of the UK\’s top advisory firms.

?? What You\’ll Be Doing

Building out smart internal tools using Python, SQL, and Alteryx

Working on end-to-end solution delivery from scoping ideas to full deployment

Collaborating with Data Analysts, Power BI experts, and Tax SMEs to bring solutions to life

Helping upskill non-tech stakeholders across the Tax team

Digging into processes, spotting inefficiencies, and automating the boring stuff

Keeping up with emerging tech (AI, ML, RPA, etc.) and testing what actually works
?? What We\’re Looking For

Proven experience with Python and SQL (data wrangling, automation, analytics)

Understanding of tax or finance processes OR experience working in a corporate / professional services environment

An eye for inefficiency and the curiosity to fix it with tech

Strong communication skills (you\’ll work closely with non-tech users)
Bonus points if you have:

Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or data visualisation tools

Knowledge of Agile, database design, or classic ML algorithms

Certifications (e.g., ATT, Alteryx) or a data science background
