About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Plumber to join a well-established and highly reputable building services maintenance provider. You'll be working on a commercial contract, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a great opportunity to join a company known for its long-term contracts, strong internal progression, and supportive management structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive plumbing maintenance tasks within agreed SLAs
- Respond to helpdesk-issued jobs and complete works efficiently and professionally
- Ensure all plant and equipment operates to required performance standards
- Maintain accurate records including PPM schedules, logbooks, and compliance documentation
- Provide a high-quality, client-facing engineering service with minimal supervision
- Undertake mechanical and plumbing repairs, servicing, and minor installations
- Liaise proactively with site contacts and management to resolve issues
- Monitor and oversee subcontractors where required, ensuring standards are met
- Support compliance and asset performance across the contract
Qualifications & Experience Required
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering OR City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven commercial plumbing maintenance experience
- Strong building services background
- Confident working in a mobile, client-facing role
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass standard DBS
- No criminal record or unspent convictions
- Full UK driving licence
