Van Driver About Specialist Driver Resourcing Specialist Driver Resourcing (SDR) is a specialist recruitment company dedicated to the building materials, hire and logistics sectors. We work with national and independent builders' merchants, specialist suppliers and leading logistics companies across the UK. We are currently looking for an Van Driver with a background in builders' merchants, tool hire, construction or a similar environment to join our growing team. About the Role This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll play an important part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our Tool Hire clients, combining driving, FLT operation ( training will be given) , yard duties, equipment handling and customer service. Some days you may be driving a 3.5-tonne van, carrying out deliveries and collections, while on other days you could be operating a Counterbalance FLT or assisting with general yard duties. You may be required to travel to sites within a 50-mile radius using your own vehicle however mileage will be paid in line with the agreed arrangement. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
