We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join a project in Hampshire, specialising in the installation of carpet and vinyl flooring.
Key Responsibilities: Install carpet and vinyl flooring to a high standard.
Measure and prepare floors prior to installation.
Cut, fit and secure flooring materials accurately.
Prepare surfaces, including basic subfloor preparation where required.
Ensure all work is completed to a high-quality finish.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Carry out general flooring and site duties as required.
Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues and site managers.
Requirements: Previous experience as a floor layer is essential.
Strong experience with carpet and vinyl installation.
Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills. CSCS card is not required.
Must be available to start ASAP.
