Senior Platform Engineer Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week on site Salary: Competitive Security clearance: About the Role We're looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join a specialist technology team delivering highly secure solutions within the national security environment. You'll work alongside experienced software, infrastructure and security professionals, helping to create and maintain the platforms that support complex, business-critical systems. You'll have the opportunity to influence how systems are built, deployed and operated, while working within a collaborative Agile delivery model. Increasing the level of automation across development, testing and deployment activities. Building robust CI/CD processes to support frequent and dependable software releases. Helping to identify and resolve complex technical and infrastructure issues. Your Technical Background You should have a solid background in Platform Engineering, DevOps or a closely related discipline, together with experience of several of the following: Working within Agile or DevOps teams, ideally using SCRUM. Public cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or Azure . Designing and supporting automated software delivery pipelines. Supporting the deployment and operation of complex or large-scale applications. Experience of working on secure or highly regulated technology projects would be beneficial, although the key requirement is a strong engineering mindset and the ability to work effectively in a security-focused environment.
