Ready to design buildings that actually work and not just look good on paper? We\’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who thrives on problem-solving, loves collaborating, and maybe even gets a little excited about a well-balanced HVAC system (we get it).

This is your chance to join a forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that\’s shaping sustainable, people-centred environments across education, healthcare, commercial, and residential sectors. You\’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, working closely with architects, clients, and fellow engineers to make ideas come to life.
What You\’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. your day won\’t be boring)
Leading the mechanical design on diverse projects from schools and hospitals to commercial developments.
Producing detailed designs, calculations, and specifications (using the usual tools like Revit, Hevacomp, IES, and AutoCAD).
Guiding and mentoring junior engineers (you remember what it\’s like to be in their shoes).
Liaising directly with clients and design teams yes, you\’ll actually talk to humans.
Getting involved in sustainability initiatives, low-carbon design, and innovative building solutions.
Enjoying the odd site visit (hi-vis optional, enthusiasm mandatory).
What You\’ll Bring to the Table
A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards it).
A solid understanding of UK building regs, CIBSE guidelines, and industry standards.
Proven experience delivering building services projects from concept to completion.
Strong communication and coordination skills you can talk tech and people.
A genuine passion for engineering, sustainability, and good coffee.
