We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Glasgow: Established in 2016, the office has developed into a hub of sector expertise supporting projects across the UK. Edinburgh: A recently opened office, strengthening our presence in Scotland and supporting East Coast-based projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of significant and complex engineering projects. You will take ownership of electrical design, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and help build strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities- Develop and deliver project briefs from inception to completion
- Lead small projects or the electrical discipline on large, complex schemes
- Produce project calculations, designs, and technical documentation
- Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines and external professionals
- Delegate, manage and review work completed by others
- Communicate design information clearly and effectively
- Report on progress and deliverables to line management
- Attend and contribute to design team, client and project meetings
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer delivering complex projects
- Experience with modern technical delivery processes and tools, including BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux
- Background working with clients, architects and contractors in a consultancy or design-led environment
- Experience supporting and developing others
- A collaborative mindset, with self-awareness and an open, generous approach
