On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Cyber Security Programme Manager for a contract until March 2027. This is a hybrid working role (travel required to Swindon on an as and when basis). UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is the national funding agency investing in science and research in the UK. As a Cyber Security Programme Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate activities across four high priority Security projects:
- Cyber Resilience (CR) project.
- Gov Cyber Security Strategy (GCSS) delivery project.
- Security: Enterprise Identity (EI)
- Security: People & Culture (SP&C) project.
Essential:
- Experience of shaping and rolling out Security projects within a complex multi-organisation enterprise.
- Experience standing up a Security Monitoring (SIEM) / Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) / Security Operations Centre (SOC).
- Experience implementing Identity Access Management (IAM) in a multi-organisation ecosystem.
- Experience managing multiple rainbow teams comprising permanent staff, contractors and Suppliers.
- Experience procuring and managing Security training providers, Security consultancy services and Security tooling vendors.
- Experience working with senior leaders up to C-Suite to influence Security Awareness and help shape organisational Security culture change.
- Security Governance & Assurance.
- Security Roadmaps.
- Exceptional stakeholder management & communications credentials are a must have.
