Location: Sittingbourne Working Hours: Ongoing work shifts below Fri-Tues14:00Thu-Mon00:00Thurs-Mon 01:00Sat-Wed23:30Weds – Sun/Thurs-Mon 00:30Weds – Sun/Thurs-Mon00:30Weds – Sun/Thurs-Mon01:00Weds – Sun/Thurs-Mon01:00 Pay rates: £17.14-£21.88 The role consists of completing deliveries and collections. About this role: Ambient work You will be driving ambient products that do not require temperate checks. Trunking You will be driving on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs. Store Delivery Transporting various type of goods from location to stores. General haulage Transporting various types of goods from location to location. Manual handling This involves physically lifting, carrying, and moving goods as needed during loading and unloading operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
