Job Title: Floor Layer Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Pay: £200-230 a day Duration: 2 Weeks Overview Options Resourcing Ltd are actively recruiting for two experienced Floor Layers to assist on an existing project for a contractor in Birmingham, West Midlands. Duties Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas accurately Install vinyl, and carpet flooring Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and repairing as necessary Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations Read and interpret schematics to ensure precise installation according to specifications Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Experience Proven experience as a Floor Layer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential Familiarity with various types of flooring materials and installation techniques is highly desirable Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to flooring installation Experience in carpentry or building is advantageous, providing a solid foundation for flooring work Knowledge of painting techniques may be beneficial for finishing touches on installations Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team If you are interested in this Floor Layer position in Birmingham then please call us here at Options on 0117 9100 570 or apply!
