Service Engineer – Coffee Machines Location: London Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year (OTE £45,000 – £50,000 with bonuses and benefits) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time About Us: Our client, is the UK’s leading independent coffee machine aftercare company, providing national coverage. They maintain all types of coffee equipment, including bulk brew, bean-to-cup, and traditional machines. As a family-run business with a friendly and transparent ethos, they offer great long-term career prospects and real progression opportunities. Role and Responsibilities: Install, commission, and set up coffee equipment, delivering an excellent and unique customer experience. Perform planned preventative maintenance on a broad range of equipment. Carry out reactive breakdown and repair calls, aiming for a first-time fix on all equipment. Deliver exceptional customer service through communication and operator training (e.g., operation and cleaning of coffee equipment). Manage spare parts stock holding in the company van. Complete all necessary job cards and supporting documents. Support colleagues and engage proactively with all areas of the business. Work on a rota of 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday only), with optional Sunday working for an additional rate of £250. Requirements: Strong electro-mechanical knowledge. Professional demeanor and drive to represent the business positively. Relevant industry experience with coffee equipment (essential). Self-motivated and flexible approach to travel. Customer-focused and a team player. Valid driving licence. Willingness to travel (50%). Benefits: Basic salary of £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience).
