Key duties and responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). - Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, inspection plans, and control plans for both new and existing products. - Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and DMAIC, and implement corrective and preventive actions. - Lead investigations into internal non-conformance's customer complaints, and supplier quality issues. - Review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and achievable. - Participate in design reviews, process validation, and production readiness activities. - Monitor key quality metrics and analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. - Perform process capability studies and statistical analysis using Statistical Process Control techniques. - Support internal, customer, and third-party audits and assist in maintaining audit readiness. - Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support supplier development initiatives. - Assist in the qualification and validation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and inspection methods. - Promote continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. - Prepare quality reports and present findings to management and customers. - Ensure calibration, inspection, and testing activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures. - Support training of production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and quality awareness.
