If you have a background in the upkeep of the Quality Management System, in line with ongoing standard requirements/expectations (AS9100 and Customer Flow Down Requirements), with good understanding of AS9100/ISO 9001/EN9100 and looking for a genuine career opportunity, somewhere hard work is recognised, rewarded and praise given, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:- The Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 / EN9100), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) & FAIs (First Article Inspections) and 8D reporting of Customer Returns.
- Maintain QMS in line with ongoing standard requirements/expectations (AS9100 and Customer Flow Down Requirements).
- Familiar with the calibration requirements in line with AS9100 requirements.
- Prepare and organise internal audits, including NCR closure.
- Assist Customer requirements with Annual Audit Requirements.
- Processing supplier/customer returns for non-conforming supplied items.
- Creating, reviewing, and signing FAI, PPAP, 8Ds and permits.
- Identify and investigate trends from internal failure modes.
- Ensure QA activities and priorities are fulfilled with the aim of achieving on time delivery (both internally and externally) of product.
- Communicate directly with Customers quality representatives when investigating customer complaints.
- Collating and analysing performance charts and data against defined parameters (KPIs & Objectives) before presenting to the Quality Director.
- Lead auditor qualification would be preferred but not essential.
- Good understanding of AS9100 and its requirements (3 years minimum) or previous exposure to the Aerospace industry and ISO9001 standards.
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
