TechNichols Resourcing are working with a successful heavy plant manufacturing business near Humberside Airport who are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / HGV Technician / Plant Fitter to join their site garage team. Due to the retirement of a long-serving employee, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering long-term stability and career development.
Working Hours:
- Week 1: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 3:30pm / Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm / Saturday 6:00am - 12:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a fleet of HGVs, plant vehicles, dumpers, tippers and light vehicles
- Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime and ensure all vehicles remain safe and operational
- Planned maintenance and servicing of HGVs and mobile plant equipment
- Mechanical diagnostics and repair work
- Root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures
- Completing inspections and maintenance schedules via CMMS
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in HGV Maintenance, Mobile Plant Maintenance or similar
- Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, HGV Technician or Plant Fitter
- Full UK driving licence
