Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead Adult LD & Autism | £30,000 £35,000 | Greater Manchester

Are you an experienced behaviour support professional ready to take on a leadership role in a forward-thinking adult social care provider? We\’re looking for a PBS Lead to drive positive change across services supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge in Greater Manchester.

Package

  • Salary between £30,000 £35,000 depending on experience

  • Initial 12-month contract with potential to go permanent

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement proactive, person-centred behaviour support plans

  • Offer clinical input and case oversight across multiple services

  • Provide hands-on guidance, mentoring, and supervision to support staff

  • Collaborate with operational leads to embed PBS in everyday practice

  • Lead behavioural risk assessments and adapt strategies as needed

  • Train and model effective PBS approaches across teams

  • Contribute to service planning, audits, and external reviews

  • Promote continuous learning and reflective practice at all levels

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years\’ experience in a behaviour support or PBS leadership role

  • Recognised qualification in PBS, ABA, or a related field

  • Confident designing and adapting individualised behaviour support plans

  • Experience in adult care settings, specifically with autism and learning disabilities

  • Ability to coach and influence teams across various services

  • Hold an LDQ or LDF qualification

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Desirable

  • Higher education qualification in a relevant area

  • Background working across supported living and residential services

  • Experience contributing to improved inspection outcomes

  • Skilled in delivering training and clinical supervision

  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to ethical, inclusive support
