We are pleased to announce a new job opening for a permanent full time Commercial Heating & Plumbing Engineer.
Our client is a reputable and well established Electrical and Mechanical contractor based in Hampshire, positioned to serve projects throughout the south of the UK, offering renewable and main contracting services in addition.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and takes pride in their technical ability and attention to detail.
Commercial Heating & Plumbing EngineerKey Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies and industry best practices.
- Identify any defects found and provide parts list and estimated timescales to complete the defects.
- Ensure Boilers are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety Regulations.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues and customers.
- Bathroom installations, alterations and repairs
- Central heating installations, alterations and repairs
- Complete re-pipes to domestic/commercial houses
- Gas or oil installations, alterations and repairs
- Plumbing work
- Unvented and vented hot water etc.
- Above ground drainage
- Maintenance and all plumbing systems
Plumbing & Heating Engineer Experience:
- Plumbing: 5 years minimum
- UK Drivers Licence
- City & Guilds Commercial Gas
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for plumbing and heating tasks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
- Experience with welding techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks
- Familiarity with carpentry principles
- Valid UK driving license preferred
- Relevant certifications in plumbing and heating systems
