Salary: £33,421 – £36,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.15am – 5.30pm (39 hours, 4-day week)

My client, part of a global engineering group, is seeking an experienced Switchgear Panel Wireman to join their brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Nottingham. This role is ideal for a Panel Wireman who enjoys working on complex, high-quality electrical systems and wants to be part of a supportive, close-knit team. You'll be working on cutting-edge switchgear projects that power data centres for some of the world's largest technology companies, offering long-term stability and excellent career prospects.

The Role – Panel Wireman

As a Panel Wireman, you will:

  • Manufacture and assemble high-quality electrical switchgear systems
  • Work from CAD drawings and electrical schematics
  • Use tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet build targets
  • Maintain 5S standards to ensure a safe, organised workspace
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

About You

  • Proven experience in electrical wiring, assembly or manufacturing
  • Confident using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Able to work independently with good time management
