Financial / Fund Accountant in Paisley

Fund Accountant - Private Capital Location: Glasgow Contract: 6 months initially, Inside IR35 The Role Join a Private Capital Fund Accounting team, providing fund valuation and accounting services to private capital funds, ensuring compliance with fund documentation, client SLAs, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review Financial Statements (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP) Prepare valuations, reconciliations, drawdowns, distributions, accruals and expenses Double-entry bookkeeping and cash reconciliation Prepare investor capital statements and IRR calculations Liaise with clients, auditors and internal teams; attend client/audit meetings Ensure client SLAs and internal deadlines are met Support process/checklist improvements and control documentation Support system/platform implementation and change activity What We're Looking For Essential: Financial services experience, ideally fund accounts preparation (private capital preferred) Fully or part qualified (ACCA/ACA or similar) preferred; currently studying will also be considered Strong numerical skills and excellent Excel proficiency Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong communicator, team player, able to meet deadlines Desirable: Understanding of private capital fund structures (GP/LP/Feeder) Awareness of private capital industry standards and regulations Experience in a multi-national environment Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
