We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to work within a large industrial company at one of their automated factories. You will also benefit from opportunities to gain further qualifications, developing more skills and building a career within this large company.
Maintenance Engineers (Shift Engineers) support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, new installations and refurbishments. This would suit Maintenance Engineers who like variation, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who aren't afraid to apply themselves and learn.
A minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing/process environment is required. Completed an Engineering Level 3 and 4 NVQ qualification is essential. You will be self-motivated, able to make decisions and react quickly to the needs of the business.
Able to travel to offsite training facilities and other factories in the group, as and when required.
Key areas of expertise include: conveyors, boilers, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics.
