My client, part of a global engineering group, is seeking an experienced Switchgear Panel Wireman to join their brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Nottingham. This role is ideal for a Panel Wireman who enjoys working on complex, high-quality electrical systems and wants to be part of a supportive, close-knit team.
You will be working on cutting-edge switchgear projects that power data centres for some of the world's largest technology companies, offering long-term stability and excellent career prospects.
- 4-day working week – enjoy long weekends every week
- 20 days holiday (based on a 4-day week) plus Christmas shutdown

The Role – Panel Wireman
As a Panel Wireman, you will:
- Manufacture and assemble high-quality electrical switchgear systems
- Work from CAD drawings and electrical schematics
- Use tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with the production team to meet build targets
- Maintain 5S standards to ensure a safe, organised workspace
- Follow all health and safety procedures
About You
- Proven experience in electrical wiring, assembly or manufacturing
- Confident using hand tools and power tools
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work independently with good time management
