Our client is looking for a Solicitor to join their Legal Department on a temporary basis for an initial period of 2-3 months. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week working from the office.

This is a rare opportunity to apply your legal expertise in a role with real social impact - advising senior leaders, supporting front line services, and ensuring robust governance and compliance across a complex regulatory landscape.

You will provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice and support across the business to meet legal obligations, including compliance with legislation and sector best practice. Working closely with the Senior Solicitor and wider Legal team, you will manage a broad portfolio of contentious and non-contentious matters, balancing legal risk with practical, solutions-focused advice that enables excellent patient care and service delivery.

The right candidate will be a UK Government-approved person able to certify copy documents with authorised signatory for contracts, deeds and other legal instruments.

Good understanding of property law, healthcare law and regulation, including NHS frameworks and care standards would be advantageous.

  • A broad understanding of English law affecting charities and healthcare providers.
  • Experience of advising on commercial property matters and patient data including drafting of documents.
  • Experience of managing a contract management database.
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on the need to give pragmatic advice.
  • Able to undertake legal research.
  • Significant experience in charity law, probate law, property law, conveyancing, employment law, tribunals, and contract law.
