Working Hours:
Week 1: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Week 2: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 3:30pm / Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm / Saturday 6:00am - 12:00pm
The Role:
You will maintain and repair a fleet of HGVs, plant vehicles, dumpers, tippers and light vehicles, working closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime and ensure all vehicles remain safe and operational.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planned maintenance and servicing of HGVs and mobile plant equipment
- Mechanical diagnostics and repair work
- Emergency breakdown repairs across the site
- Root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures
- Completing inspections and maintenance schedules via CMMS
- Managing and maintaining spare parts levels
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in HGV Maintenance, Mobile Plant Maintenance or similar
- Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, HGV Technician or Plant Fitter
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and diesel engines
- Full UK driving licence
