The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Water Treatment Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial buildings across the Greater Manchester area. This is a field-based role requiring independent working, strong technical knowledge, and a professional approach when dealing with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Temperature monitoring, flushing, and water sampling
- Closed system testing, analysis, and chemical dosing
- Cooling tower and steam boiler monitoring (where applicable)
- Carrying out routine PPM tasks across commercial sites
- Identifying non-compliance and recommending remedial actions
- Completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation
- Liaising with clients and site contacts professionally
- Working independently across a mobile patch
Requirements
- Knowledge of L8 / Legionella compliance
- Experience with closed systems and dosing (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
