Job Title: Mobile Combustion Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent / Staffordshire (Mobile role across the Midlands)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week + on-call rota
Overview
An established facilities and maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Mobile Combustion Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across sites in the Midlands, with a primary focus on Stoke-on-Trent. This is a mobile role offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance and repair of heating and hot water systems, along with general plumbing works

Diagnose faults accurately and carry out effective repairs

Complete installation works and all relevant certification

Undertake basic building fabric repairs when required

Ensure plant faults and defects are rectified promptly to maintain operational performance

Manage spares requirements, including producing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works

Complete Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) prior to starting work

Record and report safety concerns via the relevant reporting system

Attend site in response to breakdowns or equipment failures, including participation in an on-call rota

Work in accordance with contractual requirements and client authorisation

C&G Level 3 Plumbing

Trade-qualified Combustion Engineer (post-apprenticeship experience desirable)
