Position: CNC Turner - Programmer/Setter/Operator
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour. Overtime available at enhanced rates.
Hours: Mon-Thu: 15:30 - 23:00, Fri: 12:30 - 21:30.
Location: Commutable from St Albans, Watford, Chesham, Amersham, Hemel Hempstead.

Responsibilities: As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-specification, small-to-medium batch components for aerospace clients. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact quality and delivery.
- Set and operate CNC Turning machines (Fanuc controls) to tight aerospace tolerances.
- Work with premium materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, Nylon.
- Accurately record job timings in the ERP system.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization (6S).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years proven experience in CNC Turning within aerospace or other high-precision sectors.
- Skilled in setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances.
- Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience.
- CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus, but not essential.
